Onion Layers emerges from a place of constant wandering through my identity and the need to express it.
It’s somewhat of an introduction, abstract at first, but which overcomes the first impression we have when meeting someone, since one’s personality layers are not easily perceived through one’s physical traits. Each illustration is made of paper layers which makes the bystander interact with the work and understand what every single layer has and what the connection between them is. As an extremely personal project, with an interconnection between photography, drawing and text, each element may seem odd to the observer since they don’t know me personally. Yet they are invited to do so.
